MMB Award 2006
The GI/ITG Fachauschuss "Messung, Modellierung und Bewertung von Rechensystemen (MMB)" recognizes outstanding scientific work of young researchers with an award.
The winners of the MMB Award 2006 are:
- Dipl.-Inform. Anne Remke (Univ. Twente) for her diploma thesis on Model Checking Quasi Birth Death Processes
- Dipl.-Inform. Martin Gaitzsch (Univ. Hamburg) for his diploma thesis on Benutzerorientierte Leistungs- und Verfügbarkeitsbewertung von Internetdiensten am Beispiel des Portals hamburg.de
- Dr. Oliver P. Waldhorst (Univ. Leipzig, Uni. Dortmund) for his doctoral thesis Design and Quantitative Analysis of Protocols for Epidemic Information Dissimination in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
The prize winners will present their work during a special session
of MMB 2006. The prizes will be handed over in the Award Session on
March 28.

We call for applications for the MMB Award 2008.
Diploma theses, master theses and doctoral theses of outstanding
quality which have been finished in the period from January 2006
until December 2007 may be submitted to the speaker of the MMB
steering committee.
